Today we learned that when we follow God we are being obedient, and when we obey God, He will do great things! When the Israelites faced Jericho, it seemed impenetrable. But they had God on their side. When they obeyed God’s instructions, the walls of Jericho crumbled like a pile of building bricks.

What you need:
1x A4 paper (in the landscape position)
1xA5 paper
crayons / markers
Instructions:
Draw the walls of Jericho on the A5 paper
Draw Joshua and the Israelites towards the lower half of the A4 paper.
About 2/3 of the way up, cut a horizontal slit leaving between 2 – 3cm on either side.
Slip the piece of A5 paper into the slit.
Move the paper up and down to watch the walls of Jericho tumble.

Our mission for Anthem kids is to fill every young heart with the good deposit of the wonders of God and His majesty in such a manner that it will remain within their hearts for the rest of their lives.
We’re intentional about catering for every child on an age appropriate level. Our sermons, worship and activities are planned and structured in such a way that they would cater for every age group on their level, that they would be appealing and communicate the gospel in such a way that every child feels a part of the community and is encouraged in their walk of faith.
We therefore have four different age groups that meet together corporately in separate venues at Anthem Kids:
1-3 year olds, 3-5 year olds, 6-12 year olds and 13-14 year olds.
Each one of these age groups has an intended time of worship, a preaching slot, fun and games and split into even smaller groups towards the end of the service for an intentional time of prayer and conversation.
Our team is serious about fun, serious about helping every child feel comfortable, loved and seeing to it that every child is learning much more about the incredible God we serve and the plans he has for everyone. Our team exists to partner with your family and make sure that you and your children feel apart of our Anthem story.
