Anthem Recovery, powered by Project Exodus, is a life-affirming, resolution-oriented ministry birthed out of Anthem Church that addresses issues of substance dependence, pornography addiction, and related compulsive behavioural disorders.
Their specialised programmes, resources and services facilitate a sustainable journey of recovery, out of the bondage of addiction and into a life of renewed freedom and purpose.
Anthem Recovery Groups
Being part of a recovery community is an essential part of the recovery process. The Anthem Recovery groups takes place every Wednesday in Durban North from 18:30 to 20:00. The recovery community consists of two separate and interrelated groups for Addiction Recovery and Supporter Recovery.
Exodus Recovery Skills
A comprehensive out-patient treatment curriculum which aims to equip participants with the knowledge, attitudes and skills that meaningful, long-term recovery requires. This is achieved through in-depth education and training, evidence-based interventions and focused personal application, all facilitated within the supportive framework of weekly closed groups.
Project Exodus is an innovative, ground-breaking strategy, striving to address the massive problem of addiction in society in brand new ways.
It is their heart that no one is left behind, without affordable access to the help that they need to recover. To this end, Project Exodus harnesses the power and coverage of the local Church, empowering a large network of partners to make Recovery Groups and Recovery Skills Programmes available within their own communities.
